Sir Moses Adekola Oluokun, the founder of the Company, is the pioneer Chairman and heads the Board of Directors of the company. He approves general corporate goals, financial and legal commitments.
Sir Oluokun retired from the Public Service as a Commissioner of Police and Director of State Security after twenty-three years of meritorious service in 1986. Thereafter, he founded a number of companies including B. S. C. (Nigeria) Ltd; - an affiliate of Belgian Shipbuilders Corporation; which constructed and delivered Nigeria’s first and Africa’s largest Floating Drydock. Sir Oluokun is also the Chairman of Peak Merchant Bank and Mafdo Holdings.
The Vice-Chairman, Lady (Mrs.) Florence D. Oluokun, retired from the Federal Civil Service in 1977 and since founded and operated a number of companies including Mafdo (Nigeria) Limited and Mackley (Nigeria) Limited. She is presently Chairman of Peak Savings and Loans Limited.
Dr. Ayodeji Ibrahim Oluokun is the Managing Director of Peak Petroleum Industries Nigeria Limited. Dr. Oluokun is a qualified medical doctor and holds a Master of Business Administration Degree with specialization in International Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, United States of America. He has also attended upstream technical training courses locally and internationally.
Dr. Oluokun has managed the company since 1994, successfully overseeing the conversion of the Oil Prospecting License (OPL) 460 granted to Peak to an Oil Mining License (OML) 122 with a tenor of 20 years and the implementation of the company’s Field Development Plan (FDP).
He is a respected member of the Nigerian Association of Indigenous Petroleum Explorers and Producers (NAIPEC) where he currently serves as the Treasurer and was formerly Financial Secretary of the Association.
He is married with children and is an ordained Pentecostal Minister. Dr. Ayo Oluokun has an immense understanding of the oil and gas industry. He is actively involved in overseeing both technical and operational activities of the Company.
Engineer Tunde Oluokun has over 14 years of experience in oil and gas industry in the United States. Tunde has an MBA from the University of Houston, Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering, Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is also a certified drilling supervisor in Subsea and Subsurface well control.
Tunde was previously the Reservoir engineer for Devon Energy Corporation in Houston, Texas. Prior to attaining this position, he was the Reserves Coordinator for Devon Energy Corp, where he managed yearly reserves reporting, reserves booking and developed complex international fiscal models for economic evaluations and decline analysis of reserves.
Between 2001 and 2005, Tunde was the Senior Petroleum Economic consultant for Schlumberger Information Solutions, Houston, Texas where he led various consulting projects for companies such as BP, Devon Energy, Anadarko Petroleum, Shell Europe, ConocoPhillips, Unocal Alaska, Newfield Exploration and Occidental Petroleum.
He has also worked with Equantum, Global Marine Integrated Services in Houston, Texas and Texaco E&P, New Orleans, Louisiana. Tunde brings to Peak his expertise in the areas of drilling, reservoir simulation, production forecasting, reserves booking and estimation, project implementation and management. He is proficient in the use of Exodus Reservoir simulation application as well as a number of other industry specific software.
Tunde is married with 3 children and resides both in Houston, Texas and Lagos, Nigeria. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, Houston, Texas
